The CBL Meta Watch is a work in progress. So far, I'm focusing on the most picked units, win rates by map, and common compositions.
As I finish collecting and validating all match data, I’ll expand the analytics to explore deeper insights — such as Pick Rate vs. Win Rate, which helps identify dominant meta units.
More ideas are on the way. Stay tuned for updates as I continue to grow the project!
About Data Accuracy
All CBL 2025 data shown here was processed using a custom Python script to match unit icons with high accuracy.
- Each match screenshot is split by layout (15 rows, 3 columns) for both Attack and Defense sides.
- Unit icons are visually compared using SSIM, considering silhouette, size, and tier border color.
- The script generates a list of unit IDs for each player, along with a debug image for each icon comparison. In these images, the icon on the left represents the troop chosen by the player, while the icon on the right is the closest match found by the script.
- If any inconsistencies are found during manual review, the corresponding unit ID is corrected
before the data is entered into the database.
✅ 100% of matches are verified through manual review.
